Secures South Carolina Underwriting Legal Support

LONGMONT, Colo.—Alliant National Title Insurance Company, a unique title insurance underwriter that partners with Independent Agents to improve their competitive position in the marketplace, is pleased to announce that Benjamin Dunn, Attorney at Law with Holler, Dennis, Corbett, Ormond, Plante & Garner, is now representing Alliant National as the company’s South Carolina Underwriting Counsel. Dunn serves as primary contact for underwriting support for all Alliant National South Carolina Independent Agents. With over a dozen years experience in South Carolina real estate and title insurance law, Dunn brings substantial expertise in legal and title insurance issues to Alliant National.
Dunn has a distinguished and lengthy resume. Prior to joining Holler Garner, he served for several years as underwriting and claims counsel for a national underwriter, and prior to that was a partner at a Columbia, S.C., law firm. He earned a B.S. in Biology (summa cum laude) from Clemson University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a Major in the S.C. Army National Guard and is currently assigned to the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade in Charleston, S.C. In 2004-2005 he was deployed to Afghanistan where he served as a trainer and advisor with the Afghan National Army. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and Bronze Star for his service during this deployment.
