LONGMONT, Colo.—Alliant National Title Insurance Company, a unique title insurance underwriter that partners with Independent Agents to improve their competitive position in the marketplace, announces the hiring of Katherine “Kitty” Stevens, Esq. as Vice President, Florida Agent Training and Business Development.
In her new role, Stevens will spearhead the company’s agent training initiatives in Florida. She will work with Alliant National to craft and share creative solutions to ensure that Alliant National’s Independent Agents will not only survive, but will thrive in the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) environment. The CFPB is an independent federal agency that holds primary responsibility for regulating consumer protection with regard to financial products and services in the United States. Alliant National has been working closely with some of the largest national lenders to address their title agent quality concerns and demonstrate that its agent vetting process is robust and not only meets, but exceeds the CFPB requirements.
Stevens obtained her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, N.C. An underwriting attorney, Stevens will be teaming with Jeffry Stein, Esq., Alliant National Title Insurance Vice President and Florida Counsel, who manages legal issues throughout the country on behalf of Alliant National.
“Kitty's energy, knowledge, and can-do spirit make her a perfect fit for our culture as we grow into the future,” says Matt Frasure, SVP Florida Agency Manager. “We know our Independent Agents will be pleased with this latest addition to the growing Alliant National family.”
“I am honored to join the Alliant National team,” says Stevens. “As an attorney, I am dedicated to the protection and education of consumers, and I look forward to achieving this goal through Alliant National’s carefully selected, ethical Independent Agents.”
