ISO 27001 is a specification for an information security management system (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organization's information risk management processes (IT technical and system as well as process controls). The recertification is valid through 2025, subject to achieving satisfactory annual surveillance audits.

ISO 27701 is a specification for data privacy that builds on ISO 27001. It guides organizations on the policies and procedures required to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act and other data privacy requirements. It is built into the privacy information management system (PIMS) and is valid through 2024, subject to achieving satisfactory annual surveillance audits.

The purpose of our ISMS/PIMS is to consistently and effectively manage and protect the non-public, personally identifiable and confidential information we receive and process in the course of providing title insurance underwriting services.

We earned our first certification in March 2015, and have thereafter successfully completed numerous surveillance audits conducted by an independent party affiliated with ISO to maintain our certification.
