For over 20 years, Bob Grohol has been developing a comprehensive understanding of the title insurance industry. His varied skillsets include expertise in sales, marketing, technology and continuing education.
Bob began his career in the real estate industry in 1999 when he joined a leading, nationwide technology solutions provider and worked with hundreds of title insurance clients. During this period, he became involved with many industry stakeholders, including title companies, attorneys, underwriters and brokers. In 2009, he took a three-year break from the industry before joining a national electronic document recording vendor in 2012. Bob collaborated with counties and submitters while in this position and helped facilitate the electronic recording of real estate documents.
In 2021, Bob came to Alliant National, accepting the position of Assistant Vice President and State Manager of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. He is responsible for signing, marketing and managing Alliant National’s policy-issuing agents in these states. He consults with them on their goals, processes and other needs, with his primary objective being to develop fruitful partnerships and strong business growth.
Bob has been a member of the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA), the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and other industry associations and organizations. As a member of OLTA, Bob sat on its technology committee and served as its chairperson for several years. He also contributed several articles to OLTA’s “Title Topics” and several other association publications.
Bob studied at Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University, and currently lives in Mentor, Ohio. He is the proud father of one grown daughter and is an aficionado of bacon and karaoke.
