KEEPING AN OUTWARD MINDSET
Independent agents provide an invaluable service to their communities and there ought to be an underwriter whose sole purpose is to advocate for their place at the real estate settlement table.
Every day we ask ourselves, “How can we be in service to our agents?” The exercise stems from our company’s culture of having an Outward Mindset. We believe humans are at their very best when they put the interests of others ahead of their own, and we train our team to approach each task with the goal of being in service to our agents and each other.
We believe our business model demonstrates this Outward Mindset in action. We pledge to never compete with our agents through direct operations. Over 50 percent of ownership in our holding company is comprised of independent title agents. We provide resources designed to give our independent agents a competitive edge in their marketplaces.
The Independent Underwriter for The Independent Agent,sm our strength is in our numbers. We are guided by our honesty and integrity and by doing what’s right. Whether our agents, their customers or our employees, we put people first.
